Another way to tell the butterfly story is through lifelike jewelry. For years, I looked for affordable pendants that looked like monarch chrysalises but without any luck.

 

I wanted experienced enthusiasts to do a double take when they saw the jewelry, thinking it was real.

Finally, I learned to hand sculpt, paint and create the jewelry myself.
