Daily Walks in the Garden

Every morning I read in my garden with a cup of coffee. It stabilizes me and helps me meditate on the good things in life and the good things I welcome for that day. One day at a time is how life is lived. Have you ever noticed how much change can happen in one day in your garden? Then again, if nothing ever changed, there would be no butterflies. I begin and end each day in my butterfly garden.

I attract butterflies, in more than one way. People gift me butterfly things and it warms my heart. Girlfriends gave me this world butterfly map puzzle for my birthday. My husband is not really into butterflies. He likes math. But, he is a good sport and humors me. Our home is filled with peace and love. I can't help but think that the butterflies outside in our habitat contribute to that in some ephemeral way.
